กรีด

v. 1. to slit, to rip, to cut, to slash, to scrape, to score or scratch;

2. to move (in a refined, elegant, or affected manner); n. 3. a shrill (cry), a shriek, a scream, a sound (as of a woman or child weeping).

กรีดกราย- proudly, vainly, indifferently;

กรีดนิ้ว- to separate by stiffening the fingers apart.

แผลถูกกรีดออกให้กว้าง The wound was slit open.

ใครไม่ทราบเอามีดมากรีดกางเกงของฉัน Somebody ripped my pants. เจ้าหล่อนกรีดนิ้วเช็ดจานแล้ววางบนโต๊ะ She affectedly wiped the plates and placed them on the table. อย่าทำกรีดกรายไปหน่อยเลย Don't give yourself airs and graces. เธอร้องกรีดด้วยความเจ็บปวด She screamed (shrieked) with pain.
